About Us

The Kona Jazz Festival is a celebration of live music on the Big Island of Hawaii. This annual event draws musicians from many genres to the state of Hawaii and attracts music lovers from around the world. Set at the beautiful Mauna Kea Beach Resort, the festival takes place on the luau grounds overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Founded in 2009 by the Fogelsong Family, the first annual Kona Jazz Festival will be held on April 10th, 2010.
